At First pushes the boundaries of modern metal and shows broad influences. Influences that vary from Rage Against the Machine to Alter Bridge and Halestorm to Northlane. Those boundaries are often broken with modern, complex compositions where growling riffs are accompanied by alternate grooves. With a variety of sounds and singing styles, At First tells a story that will keep you interested every second.
At First has shared the stage with acts such as Bring Me The Horizon, Textures, The Royal and Dool. Their energetic live performance and no-nonsense mentality has lead At First to win several band contests and play at festivals and venues like AFAS Live, Breda Barst and PAARD the Hague.
In the beginning of 2020 At First released their debut album titled Deadline, a reference to the pressure in modern society. The album and its accompanying music videos were completely self-produced and released. Deadline already gathered thousands of streams, two of its singles were added to the official Spotify playlist “Hard & Heavy” and the debut album was very positively received by music journalists.

Deze grenzen worden regelmatig doorbroken met moderne, complexe composities waarbij grommende riffs vergezeld worden met afwisselende grooves. At First heeft het podium gedeeld met acts zoals Bring Me The Horizon, Textures, The Royal en Dool. Met haar energieke live performance en no-nonsense mentaliteit heeft At First meerdere bandcompetities gewonnen en gespeeld op festivals en in zalen zoals AFAS Live, Breda Barst en PAARD Den Haag.
Begin 2020 bracht At First hun debuutalbum uit genaamd Deadline, verwijzend naar de huidige druk in de moderne maatschappij. Het album en de bijbehorende videoclips zijn volledig door de band zelf geproduceerd en uitgebracht. Deadline heeft inmiddels duizenden streams, twee singles zijn toegevoegd aan de officiële Spotify playlist ‘Hard & Heavy’ en de debuutplaat werd erg positief ontvangen door muziekjournalisten.
